Our Espresso Blend weaves together three renowned coffee regions , Sul de Minas in Brazil, Antigua in Guatemala, and Sethuraman Estate in India. Each origin brings something essential to the cup.

Brazilian beans provide the chocolatey body and sweetness. Guatemalan beans add brightness and complexity. Indian beans contribute a rich, spicy depth. The result is a balanced, full-bodied espresso with a thick crema and a smooth, lingering finish.

Nice little kickstart to the day with this one. A medium roast espresso blend so the flavours are pretty calm and not too overpowering. If you’re someone who loves espresso but doesn’t enjoy getting their head blown off this is perfect. I’m fairly caffeine sensitive so this worked so well with me. Definitely recommend

Is your monthly subscription some kind of joke?
I placed the order on September 14, with delivery scheduled for October 9–11. Why is that? I subscribed specifically so I wouldn’t run out of coffee, but when my coffee started running low, I realized something was wrong. I was forced to place a new order, which still won’t arrive before I run out.

Please give me an explanation of why this happened — maybe I should start looking for another coffee.

I absolutely love this coffee! The flat white turns out amazing, with a thick and dense crema!
But please do something about the delivery! Five days is way too long for a coffee lover. It’s hard to keep track of my coffee stock and order in advance.
Last time I waited five days, and then it got postponed again because the courier didn’t want to leave it with the neighbors, saying they needed my signature.
I mean, it’s a valuable package, sure, but not that valuable!

OK... but 3 months off roast and a bit bland as a result

Before I get to this coffee, I'd like to say that I've bought beans directly from We Are Coffee as well as from Amazon, and the quality was far better when bought direct.
As for the Amazon stocked and delivered beans: I cupped them and compared to 3 coffees at a similar price from 2 well known, large UK specialty roasters. Summary is that the We Are Coffee beans were hollow and papery - probably a result of being 3 months off roast.
As an espresso in milk drinks it did a good enough job, certainly better than the supermarket brands, but I struggled to get an even extraction with lots of squirters and inconsistent shots so as straight espresso it wasn't fantastic. Again, almost certainly a result of excessive aging in the Amazon warehouse.
Good level of information on the bag, and their single origin had a cupping score that put it into the specialty bracket.
I think the brand is definitely worth trying, but only if you buy directly from them OR their stock turnover at Amazon increases to ensure your coffee is <1 month off roast. I'd like to revisit the brand at some point, but not too soon.
